When AI gets a brand wrong, the brand bears the cost.

The legal trend is unambiguous: brands are increasingly answerable for what AI says about them, even when the brand didn't author the words. Agencies who can document what a client actually claimed, and when, are the agencies clients keep.

The FTC has stated that companies remain responsible for the marketing claims of any tools they deploy or endorse, AI included. The EU AI Act introduces phased obligations on brands using AI in regulated contexts through 2025–2026. State-level AI disclosure rules in California, Colorado, and others are now in force or pending.

A Verified Brand Record is the brand's documented, cryptographically signed declaration of what it actually claimed. It doesn't override applicable law or eliminate exposure. It establishes a verifiable record of brand-authored truth that the brand and its counsel can point to when it matters.

  • Timestamped, signed declarations. Every Brand Truth claim, certification, and prohibited-term update is signed and dated. Reconstructable from Block #00001 forward.
  • Tamper-evident audit trail. Every change shows who made it, when, and under what permission scope. Retroactive edits break the chain and are immediately detectable.

Is the 20% commission really lifetime?
Yes. 20% of every paying client's monthly subscription, for as long as that client stays subscribed. If they're with us for five years, you earn for five years. Tracked through Rewardful, which uses Stripe's client_reference_id for attribution. Transparent dashboard, exportable reports, paid out monthly.
What happens if a client cancels and resubscribes later?
If a client cancels and resubscribes within 90 days through your link, commissions resume automatically. After 90 days they're considered a new attribution event, which means whichever agency they signed up through second gets the commission. Standard Rewardful attribution rules.
Can I manage clients on their behalf, or do they have to do it themselves?
Both. Our patent-pending two-layer authorization means the brand always owns the master signing key (so it's their identity, fully theirs to revoke), but they can delegate operational permissions to your agency. You can declare Brand Truth, manage Brand Alerts, upload Evidence Vault items, and respond to mismatches, all signed under your delegated signature, all auditable.
Do I need any technical skills to set up clients?
No. The whole onboarding is guided UI, pick a platform (Shopify, WordPress, DNS), authorize, answer the 16 Brand Truth questions, sign and publish. If you can fill out a form, you can publish a Verified Brand Record. Average client setup takes 8–12 minutes.
Is there a quota I have to hit to stay in the program?
No. No minimums, no quotas, no exclusive contracts. Sign up two clients in your first year or two hundred, you're treated the same. We do feature top agencies in our partner directory, but participation is optional.
Do white-label or reseller arrangements exist?
Not yet at the standard agency tier, Verified Brand Records always identify Laiyr as the issuing standard, because that's the open-standard architecture that gives the record its authority across AI platforms. Enterprise customers can request co-branded reseller arrangements with custom terms. Contact us if that's a fit.
When a client gets flagged by a regulator or a customer over something AI got wrong, what can we point to?
That's exactly what the Verified Brand Record is designed to answer. Every Brand Truth declaration, every Evidence Vault upload, every prohibited-term update is timestamped, cryptographically signed, and recorded in the client's Governance Corpus. If a client is asked "what did you actually tell AI about your brand, and when," there's a documented answer with a verifiable chain of custody. The two-layer authorization architecture means the brand's master signature and the agency's delegated signature are distinct, so it's clear at the audit level who did what. Laiyr isn't counsel and doesn't replace it, but it gives clients and their attorneys something concrete to work from instead of "we updated the website."
