Is the Free tier really free, with no expiration?
Yes. The Free tier requires no credit card, has no expiration, and you can stay on it indefinitely. You get a registry listing for your brand, a one-time AI scan across all 6 AI platforms, and a foundation Brand Truth declaration. You won't get cryptographic signing or monthly AI scans, those start at Pro, but you'll see exactly what AI is saying about you right now and have a foundation to build on.
What's the real difference between Free and Pro?
Free is a complete one-time look, your brand on the Laiyr registry, your Brand Truth declared, and a scan across all 6 AI platforms so you see exactly where AI gets you wrong today. Pro is the ongoing system: a cryptographically signed Verified Brand Record published at your domain, monthly scans across all 6 platforms, Brand Alerts when AI drifts, and MCP App access (rolling out soon). Free shows you the problem; Pro is how you stay the source AI reads from.
What's the difference between Pro and Business?
Pro is built for a single brand managed by one person. Business adds up to 5 team seats on one domain, custom claim permissions per team member, customizable freshness arbitration rules, and product copy alerts for catalog drift detection. If you manage one brand alone, Pro is enough. If you have a team where different people manage different claims (CMO, brand manager, copywriter), Business is the right tier. If you need multiple domains, that's Enterprise.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro and Business are month-to-month, billed monthly through Stripe, and you can cancel at any time from your dashboard. If you cancel, your Verified Brand Record stops being signed and updated, but your registry listing and Brand Truth foundation remain on the Free tier with no expiration. You can resume any time.
Do you offer annual pricing or discounts?
Annual pricing is available on Business and Enterprise. Annual saves about 17% compared to month-to-month. We don't run promotional discounts on Pro because the price is already calibrated for the value delivered. Enterprise pricing is fully custom based on your domain count, team size, and required protocol adapters.
What happens if I exceed my plan's limits?
We'll let you know before anything breaks. For domain or team limits, we send a heads-up at 80% capacity with an option to upgrade. We never silently bill overages or hold your record hostage. If you go over and don't upgrade, the most recent additions become read-only until you decide.
Do agencies get special pricing?
Agencies don't get discounts on the per-client subscription, but they earn

Is Enterprise required for regulated industries?
Not always. Pro and Business work for most regulated industries. Enterprise becomes necessary when you need SSO via Okta/Azure/Google Workspace, SOC 2 documentation, multiple domains under one account, or custom contract terms negotiated with your legal team. Healthcare systems, financial institutions, and large law firms typically need Enterprise. Solo practitioners and small clinics are usually fine on Pro or Business.
